Do employers provide health care for EFL teachers (Language schools) in New Zealand?

Everyone is covered by ACC (Accident Compensation Corporation). This means that if you get hurt as the result of an accident you are covered.
If you are going to be working for a private tertiary enterprise (PTE) you are unlikely to get any benefits other than mandatory holiday pay and paid statutory holidays. If you want extra health cover you'll need to pony up for that yourself.
