An alternative solution may be to advertise on www.expatriates.com

I have seen musical instruments for sale there...or you could post an ad and specifiy what you want...
...nothing to loose in doing so as it is a free to post ads

Al Dahliah is in Rashid Mall, and also in the Philipino Souk opposite Isa Souk.

There are a lot of shops selling musical instruments just around the gold souk in Bahrain. Lots of other interesting stuff being sold in that region as well! Rolling Eyes

There are also shops in Al Khobar. If you go to the part of the souk that is just across from Al Issa Souk, there are several places that sell what appear to be quality new instruments. However, I wouldn't recommend making any major purchases in KSA if you can avoid it. Most places have no real return policy, and if you get a defective item, you are stuck with it. Even my students tell me they avoid buying big-ticket items here because there is no after-service and no return policy on anything.

I got my money back, yes, I said MONEY in the late 90's at the newly-minted Saraha Mall in Riyadh from the Tamimi market there after I returned my Chef-Boy-R-Dee pizza mix that wuz infested with boll weevils. It nearly knocked me on me arse as it was the first time that I'd ever experienced (as have you now) actual faloose being given back to a customer instead of a "credit". Now, the pizza mix wasn't a big ticket item"...but, I'm pretty sure that that's the first time that you've ever heard of money being given back to a customer.

A memory indeed!
