hey guys.
how do you make an international call to canada using the ntt payphones?
i would slip in my card and then enter 1-250-phonenumber or 001-250-phonenumber but i would get a whole bunch of beeps. And how can you make a collect call to canada using the same phones? |

Get a Brastel card and pre-pay to call Canada (about 15 yen/min). You should also be able to get a pre-paid phone card at any convenience store. Why can't you make a collect call by picking up the phone and asking the operator? It will cost a mint for your friend or Mom in Canada to pay for a collect call from here. |

I haven't done this in a very long time, but I think you can only use the green phones. |

I signed up with PRIMUS. It is attached to your mobile or home phone. 8Yen a minute to Canada. Dail the access phone number and then call as you normally would to canada. 1-306-XXX-XXXX
Cheap and easy. |
