there seem to be endless opportunities for ESL teachers in Indo, but are there any other opportunities for qualified expats? for example, do you know of anyone who works for an NGO or international organization? |

Yes i've known many expats who have worked for NGOs and I can tell you they pay $1,000s more than any teaching salary. I tried looking into it but didn't have the qualifications, secret handshake and right connections to get in. |

I work for one in Jakarta, and it's all about networking, as far as getting a foot in the door is concerned. My quals, if you are interested, MA and BA Intl Relations. Was a teacher for 5 years. |
