�35 an hour.
Colleges can charge upwards of �50 an hour for 1-2-1 tuition
The most charged for my services was �47/hr about 5 years back
Charge what you think the client can afford and if that is not enough for you arrange for them to organise a shared class with a couple of other students
Take a look at some of the college sites and see what they charge and price yourself accordingly.
Remember...They do deliver the goods. This is why there are those who are prepared to pay the price. |

I charged �25 an hour on the South coast in 2005 when I was still inexperienced. The student (OK, it was paid by his firm) thought I was good value.
If people are charging �10 an hour they won't be taken seriously. |
