Anybody happen to know anything about this place? It looks like quite a substantial institution from their website. What's life like in Istanbul? I'm pretty much totally ignorant about Turkey.
No mention of compensation package. What is usual in Turkey? I haven't been looking there at all.

Oh man, this is a scam.  I wonder if Maltepe uni even exists. They offered me 11,000 GREAT BRITAIN POUNDS a month!  Without so much as a phone interview. Of course the visa fee is 1200 pounds.  They're so dumb they even left the last victim's name of the contract instead of typing in mine. I suppose the uni is for real, and this gang is just using their name. |

Maltepe is real but all that other info such as pay and fee for the Visa sounds real bogus. As far as I know, any employer is supposed to get the work Visa for the employee. But, what kind of visa is this ?  Sounds kinda like a scam. |

| hmmm i thought i posted something but i can't see it.... in short: Maltepe U is real and they don't hire foreigners directly at this time, they subcontract them from a language school... |
