I have had a strange 24 hours. I was on my was from Korea to Indonesia for my new job this Saturday. They dropped a bomb on me last night I said my visa was rejected. So now I am stuck with no flight as my flight was to Indonesia.
This is how this relates to the China forum. I was offered a job last night with my old company in China. They want me to fly in on a one way ticket and do my visa there( I know they have the connections)
My question is how can I get into China on a one way ticket. Will a tourist visa be approved with a one way? Also anyone know where or how to get a Chinese tourist visa quickly in Korea. |

i believe this thread will answer your first question adequately:
China Entry
i've never been asked to show an air ticket when applying for a chinese visa back home (done it a few times). but every consulate may have their own little quirks, as we all know.
as for the second question, just search online for a visa agent wherever you are right now. they're fastest but more expensive. your only other alternative is to visit a chinese consulate.

| one can fly to Hk with no visa and take a boat to shekou without passing hk customs- they give on the spot visas once you arrive in Shekou (shenzhen suberb) |

i did the reverse once. checked my bags for the flight home at the marina in shekou, passed through customs, then took the ferry to HK airport and proceeded directly to the gate for the flight. |
