I am a huge comics fan, and a fan of a number of comic artists from Latin America. I would like to discover more Latin American greats, but my lack of Spanish makes this very difficult.

So I thought I would see if there are any fellow comic fans here at Dave's and ask who they like. I am also curious to know what the comics scene is like where you guys are, if you know. What are the favourite haunts of local artists? Both online and in real life?

Note that I have refrained from listing artists such as Marcelo Frusin and Eduardo Risso, whose work I love, because they are widely known. I'm looking for unknown greats.
