Hey guys, I'm a "newbie" although I've been on the sidelines reading your posts for the past year. I have been offered a position at Anhui University of Technology that is located in Ma'anshan, Anhui province. Has anyone ever been to this city? Good / Bad? Anyone work at this school? All input is appreciated. Thanks! |

Hey, thanks for the reply. About 2 weeks ago I had to decide between a University in Ma'anshan and a University in Chengdu. I decided upon the University in Chengdu instead. Thanks for the help! |

I taught in Hefei for three and a half years and one morning I took a bus with two students to visit Li Bei's tomb. We read some of his poems and then had some wine. Ma an shan is a small city that is developing. From their we went to Wuhu and had a nice hot pot dinner on walking street near the big Xinhua bookstore. Nearly 6 years ago, I was offered a teaching position in Chengdu by the Ruide Company ( Recruiters ) and the pay was only 2,500 RMB, so I went to Hefei. |
