I was wondering if anyone in the tokyo area can point in the right direction. I'm looking for a place to rent for teaching a private group. I have heard that community centers dont allow you to use their space for profit making so Im looking for alternatives. locations near Ebisu, shinagawa, tokyo, shibuya, or shinjuku would be best. Thanks

I would check with the actual community centres to see what their rules are. Maybe some don't allow profit-making enterprises, but a friend of mine used to teach "English and cooking" lessons for profit at one of Koto ward's facilities.
