I am going to Brazil because I want to learn portuguese, and will be teaching ESL to support that endeavor. I have a few years experience in the field, and am comfortable just showing up and looking for work, but was curious if anyone had any tips for jobs in Florianopolis. Furthermore, what are the best ways to get around paying exorbitant fees for portuguese classes in Brazil, I thought it might be easier in Florianopolis to look for places that market towards argentines instead of north-americans and europeans as it will be cheaper. do schools/institutes grant classes in favor of hours worked in the english classroom? any tips would be appreciated... |

I'm looking for information on Floripa too. Which schools are best, how much do they pay, are there teacher training programs there which you would recommend?
Thanks |
