Hi
Does anybody know where you can pick up cheap 2nd hand stuff in Tokyo? In particular I'm looking for a banjo.
Thanks

there are recycle shops.
For a banjo, who knows.

In general I would say Ueno and Ikebukuro are good places for finding cheaper stuff.

For a bunch of recycle shop websites, type this into google:
リサイクル 東京

For something specific like a banjo, you could try googling:
バンジョー 東京

I also suggest checking out Yahoo Japan auctions or a dedicated musical instrument shop.
