Huh???
This thread might be more helpful by listing A) reasons why a particular place is good and B) how many other places you've taught at in the Gulf, and how the good places compare to those others.
I've only worked in Oman, but SQU is better than my previous job at an Applied Sciences college--better salary; more supportive directors, coordinators, and admin staff; nicer campus and facilities. Once you're inside the classroom, though, the teaching is pretty much the same--students are cheery and friendly, but a bit unmotivated and immature.

| Definitely not the Academic Bridge in Qatar. I quit and am just back for a few days to say good-bye and collect my things. |

Besides the reasons why you like a place, how about spelling out the name of the place so that those of us who are unhip to the Middle East acronyms can understand the conversation.
Thanks! |

Google and the search mechanism are your friends. This is merely a thread to give you a start, not much in the way of real answers.

In order to make a poll wouldn't you need to list all the known employers... in all the various countries? I don't think they allow a poll that large.
The question is very difficult to an answer anyway... depends on your credentials and goals and requirements. For instance, the first person said KFUPM... that immediately excludes all female teachers as they hire only men.
