Hi, I'm looking at coming to Mexico and was hoping someone could advise me when schools and institutes do their hiring.

Primary and secondary schools begin to look at staffing needs for the upcoming year as early as January and February and will continue to do so through to June. With the school year starting in mid-August, there is a scramble to fill positions making that month the best to be in Mexico, in person.

Language institutes hire year round with quiet periods just before and through Christmas and the Easter break.
