|
|
Hi - I'm flying from Seoul to Canada with a 6 hour stop over in San Fransisco im March. Enough time to do anything? See anything? Suggestions.
I am changing airlines there also - Asiana to United - is there only 1 terminal for international flights. I know some places - you have to change terminals depending on your carrier.
Thanks so much for your help.

You can catch the BART from SFO into the city (20 min) and do a little poking around in that time. SF is not a big city, but what you do depends on what your interests are.
There is only on Intl. terminal. Dont forget that if you're Canuck, you'd have to go through customs too. |

What Nozka means is that SF is not geographically huge, however you can easily spend hours, days, or weeks exploring this amazing city. To save time on a layover, I would also recommend BARTing in and out, but taking advantage of the walkability between certain stations. Try exiting at Embarcadero, then walking to Powell Street. Then get back on BART and get off at 16th/Mission and walk to 24th/Mission. You can gain a great sense of downtown life and neighborhood life, plus find some excellent burritos in the Mission. From 24th Street Station you can BART your way back to SFO. This is what I would do in a 3-4 hour time frame. |
