I'd like to know if any of you have observed the reaction to left-handed teachers and other employees in India. In many cultures left-handedness is considered inauspicious and even demonic - traditionally in Europe as well. As a student and teacher in India I will be writing a lot and need to know what to expect.

I found locals in Delhi and Chennai thought it odd, not demonic, that I wrote with my left hand. Not really a problem. But.... disgusting to eat with my left hand. You may already know that's the "toilet" hand.

Yes, agree with the "toilet hand" comment. But no, I'm left-handed & lived in India, no one really bugged about it.
