The school posts your salary to your bank account and then after your salary is posted the school puts a stop order on your bank account.
They also give you an apartment with bedbugs and a room mate. The apartment is dirty and not properly cleaned.
The job offer is a single apartment.
Is this legal and what can be done?
They are posting accounts through Dubai Commerical Bank in the Sharjah Branch. When you speak to the Bank Operations Manager they refuse to let you speak to anyone higher.
Try speaking to the CEO! You will be refused by customer care. |

If the school is putting a stop order on your account (which I presume is in your name alone) then I would report your bank to the Central Bank as acting outside of its legal rights/responsibilities.
Even here in the Gulf, banks cannot take instructions from third parties who are not signatories to the account without legal authority (i.e. a police case has been filed)
Tell the customer care person your next stop is the central bank (it's on King Faisal Road across the street from EIBFS |
