Hi everyone,

I've read the forum so many times, I KNOW I am repeating a lot, but because I've gone through everything overtime, I can't remember what I have read. Please help...

1. What do you recommend for int'l insurance just for one month during a TEFL program? Does anyone have any experience with this? My time is running low before I leave for CR so I really need to act on it. Or, can you pay for private insurance here in the states, even if you live abroad? How does that work?

2. Criminal Record History - I have heard that some companies do require criminal record history certified by your secretary of state then notarized by the Costa Rican Consulate. I just paid (13$) to have my record history, and literally it's just a lousy 1 page doc. saying no criminal history found (and when I say lousy, it literally has the "page 1 of 1" and web address on bottom, etc.) Is this what we are supposed to get certified/notarized? Or is there something more professional looking... Sorry - I just honestly have no idea.
