Hello!
I tried using the search feature to find out a little more information on Media Kids but was unsuccessful.
So far it seems like a great option for someone who has never taught English abroad.
I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences with them.
Thank You,
Sheila |

I also posted on the link to the other thread. But basically, MediaKids is a good place for new teachers especially if you want to work outside of bangkok. Also good for teachers who dont want to deal with the red tape by themeslves.
Decent salary and other benefits. You get accommodations. Good support. Some pretty basic and simple extra-curricular activities that can actually be quite helpful if you want to get more involved which usually leads to after school/weekend private tutoring work. They usually work with poorer schools which lack resources, but that comes with the territory of working in a rural area of a country like Thailand that is still a developing country ouside the big cities and tourist areas.
For Bangkok work, there are better and higher paying options. For outisde Bangkok, again, its a good place to start out teaching in Thailand. |
