Can anyone tell me about getting these messages from Daves ESL Im sure many of you get these. However when I open some these messages, I also get the second message. And the second one does not make sense. Is there or was there a message to generate the first notification email and how did that message disappear?????

The first message means you signed up to be notified when someone adds a post to that thread.
The second message means the thread has been locked or deleted by mods. |

Glenski,
Thank you for your answer. I really appreciate it. I know I requested the notification about other postings on the same thread. But I did not know or understand the second one. I get these notices in about half of the referral emails I get from Dave's forum.
I think I'll have to find less controversial topics or less controversial posters in the future, what do you think?
