hello.
I would like to know what people do in the summer for work.
Do you work at camps?
Are you teaching?
Do you go back home to Britain or North America?
Or, do you find that you get a long unpaid vacation?

Brooks,Bell and Akcent in Poznan run summer camps and are always on the look out. Some schools will pay you a retainer over the summer if you agree to stay. |

I have heard bad things about work in camps. Do you recommend these places? |

A few summers ago some friends of mine did the summer camps with Bell and all reported that although tiring they were a lot of fun.I did several camps with Akcent over a number of years and can tell you that only the last was a disaster.Yes they,(Akcent), are cowboys but it was good fun and the kids were great. The camps were not well paid,(about 750 zl/week), but this is compensated by the fact that you don't really have to spend much.Good luck. |
