Hopefully all these doomster articles will be effective in keeping closed-minded people away from Mexico. Thanks for sharing!

You're right. Let me rephrase that: "...effective in preventing more closed-minded people from coming to Mexico".

What's all the scaremongering in aid of anyway? You are far more likely to be the victim of mindless violence in the US or the UK - Mexico, es otra onda.

not in "small town" America. maybe huge cities like Houston, etc. but there, everyone lives in the suburbs commutes in and leaves at 5 PM.

Canada is the opposite. I'd read an article recently that showed crime stats as higher in small town and rural Canada than in big cities. They chalked it up to Canadian gun laws.

One commenter from the article...

Quote:
The murder rate in Mexico is 13 per 100,000 people. In the USA it's 4 per 100,000. Canada is 2 and Switzerland, heavily armed, an eeeevil assault rifle in every closet, is under 1 per 100,000.

Chicago, home town of the One is at 17, much, much worse than Mexico.

If Mexico is in a state of near-collapse, what should we do about Chicago? Well, Obama fled, that's one solution.

Holy cow, Edmonton is at 4, twice the national average, twice the murder rate of all those pistol totin' blackamoors in TO, turns out all those smiling ukerainians are murderous as hell, send in the vandoos, the place is collapsing.

This whole article is the usual tired bashing of disorderly spics and dagos.

and a great one...

Thanks Kelly for finally addressing this extreme problem on the US border. Al Quaida have been watching for a long time the open border problems and successive Administrations have been ignoring the border. Texas and Arizona have been locally fighting for years with illegal immigrant and drug war problems. The drug cartels have moved into the larger cities in the US with their drug wars sending arms south to Mexico in exchange for drugs. Honest Mexican officials are being killed the moment they take office. The Mexican president had to call in the army in this battle who are more honest than the corrupt police. Next to Iran, Mexico is the next biggest threat to US security. I've been watching this through some of the US media for years now. Mainstream media should stop gushing over Obama and start concentrating on Mexico becoming a failed state.

Osama is hiding out in some Tijuana cantina, sitting on a pile of Iraqi anthrax, working on his Spanish.

After taking one of those quick courses to become an express teacher? I wouldn't be surprised!

Yes, the CIA training he received didn't cover emergency ESL teaching.
