Hey, have been sending out my cover letter to all the school i can find on the internet in Australia. Is that a good idea? And i have experience and a CELTA, is that enough, i didnt finish my uni degree, is that a big problem or will they overlook that since i have other qualifications? Thanks for the information. Take care. |

Good luck, but don't be surprised if you don't hear any favorable replies.
I tried sending out "cold call" letters about 6 months ago; despite experience, a certificate, and a bachelors degree I had no luck finding anything. |

I hear what LS is saying, but had a different experience myself. From what other people have said on this forum, I think it differs greatly between cities. I posted my experience on a different post here, but I had too many job choices when I was recently in Brisbane working.
But, supertraveller, are you Australian? Visa issues could possibly get in the way...
Good luck,
Lozwich. |
