has anyone heard of victoria education organisation. ive been offered a job there and when i went for my interview the woman told me it was one of the most prestigious schools in hk so i figured someone must of heard of it??? also is it normal that to get a job in hong kong u need to sign a 2 year contrract and then be told wat stage ur teaching after signing it? it also has a penalty clause in it, it lists a heap of things u have to pay back, i think it mounts up to a months wage. i do have QTS and i read somewhere on here that u need to have QTS to avoid bad contracts but so far the contract on offer doesn't seem any different to the one i got wen i was in korea before i had QTS. any advice would be much appreciated!

Hi Lisa. It sounds very dodgy. If I were you I'd look for something better, especially if you have QTS.
