After months of looking, I have finally found a really good volunteer program that doesn't cost anything. The organization is called El Nahual, and is in Xela, Guatemala. They offer a range of placements, from English teaching, to basic Spanish teaching, gardening, music classes and construction.

I've just started here and really enjoy it.

You should send the info to www.volunteersouthamerica.net They-re always looking for good programmes.
