I'm in my first year of teaching in China, and I want to say thanks for all the information on this forum. I've learned a lot here.

When do you think is the best time to start looking for a job for next year? Specifically, I would like to teach at a university in Shanghai. After a year of boredom in Nanchang, I need a city that has a little more to offer.

Is now too soon? When is the peak hiring time? I'm scared of missing it and having to settle on somewhere I'd prefer not to be. Any info would be really appreciated.
