In California I can tell people that I have a teaching credential, and everyone will know that what I mean is that I have the legal authority to teach in a public schools...but in Boston, my relatives do not know what I am talking about. "ohhhh" they said "you have a teachers certificate!"
I want to know how I should word this in Asian and in the middle east so that people will automatically know that what I mean is that I have gone to school 2 extra years (though not quite a masters degree) so that I am legally qualified to teach in the public schools.
It is important for me to be able to communicate this quickly because I am trying to make up for not having a masters degree. |
