I'm coming to Santiago in mid-May to work for Bridge.

Does anyone know a good website to look for shared housing?

Which neighborhoods are the best to live in? I live in a college town and I like to be able to walk to bars, restaurants, theaters, etc. I'd like a cheap place to live with activities close by.

The Bridge office is in Providencia, but it sounds like that is a business district. What are good neighborhoods near Providnicia?

Thanks,

Aaron

Providencia is also a residential district with medium to high end accomodations (a little more expensive than other regions) There are lots of pubs, restaurants there as well. If you want a cheaper place to live with a little action I would suggest living downtown (aka. Santiago Centro) near a subway station. Its a quick ride on the Metro to Providencia although a bit of a hike to Bridge from the nearest Metro station. As for shared housing, check craigslist and www.elrastro.cl..
