I have over 2 years teaching experience teaching, a BA, and tefl cert. I was offered 14/hr at cleverlearn after taxes, 16/hour at premier before taxes, and 11/hr at some other school. Am I being taken for a ride or should I take the scraps? I must make a decision soon as my phonds are running low. oh, and that premier gig requires a year contract. Calgon take me away! |

My suggestion is take a job (any job) til you get settled, meet people and figure it out from there. It's tough at first, but you have to put your time in- it's Vn (How long are you going to stay here? That's a question you'll here over and over because many people change jobs regularly. It's really a smokescreen because there's no loyalty IMO either way. With your creds, depending on if you actually teach, you should get what you're looking for in a few months. |
