Hi everyone,
As an EU citizen (UK), who will soon be looking for work in the CZ after I finish my certification, I was wondering about job prospects. Will I have an advantage in the eyes of potential employers because I am an EU citizen and thus require no help in the visa process? What I mean is, if I have the same qualifications/teaching quality as someone who is of a third party nation, would I have a better chance of employment? Or is the visa process not as big of a hassle as I imagine in to be.
Thanks for any input and insight |

Yes, you have a bit of an advantage over non-EU teachers with similar qualifications. |

Agreed, you have an advantage. However, the qualification or even experience doesn't mean that much. You have to have the skills and knowledge. Most school (if not all) are getting a lot more selective with their teachers. They are going to make you do a demo and sit in on an interview. If you mess up the demo, they are not going to hire you. EU or no EU. |
