I've been renting a motorbike for several months now and have decided that I would like to buy one.
How does one actually go about buying a motorbike? Can you just walk into the Honda HEAD store, fork over the cash, and walk out with one. I'm pretty sure it's not that simple. So for those in the know, how does it work?
Also, what kind of bike do you own and why? I quite like the Honda Future for the little bit of extra power as well as the design. I currently ride a Honda Wave alpha which is alright but it does feel rather cheap. I'd like sth a bit more solid. |

Buying a Motorbike is becomingsimpler but it's not there yet! At present, without a work permit - the motorbike can't be in your name and must be in the name of a Vietnamese. But you can have your name on the bill of sale though, which can simplify some legal matters.

Thanks for the reply! My work permit is in the works so I guess it's better to hold off till that goes through. |
