|
|
Hello, this will be my first post here in the forums but I've been lurking for a while.
I'm having difficulty researching schools in Yilan. A search here at Dave's ESL turned up about 10 posts. Internet searches turn up info about Ivy League School and about the Dewey recruiters mostly. Lots of posts on Forumosa too but mostly random and not so relevant to teaching ESL.
Can anyone give first- or second-hand knowledge of English schools in Yilan/Ilan?
My impression is that this isn't the kind of place I can just travel to and start popping into cram schools, kindys, and unis on foot but I've only just begun my research so perhaps I am totally wrong? Ideally, I'd prefer to arrange a job from here in the US but I'll search there on the ground if it will better my chances of finding a job I'll be happy at.
Please, no snarky comments. I can take them, but what good do they do anyway? All constructive input is otherwise appreciated!! |

Yup, I suspect globalgourmand was trying for the Taiwan board and missed. Good luck. |
