Shocked

Hey Everyone,

I will be shipping off to Japan as an ALT for Joytalk this coming weekend. If you have any advise or thoughts you could give me about me pending journey, please share.

All thoughts are welcomed.

Your friendly neighborhood,

Poptokyo

I'm off to Morioka Tuesday. Make sure you pack lots o deodorant and toothpaste. Also check the airline regulations for what you can/cannot carry, and don't pack too much to get penalized for weight (varied from each airline, but usually 50lbs per checked is the norm)!

Hmm what else can I say... always bring an extra pair of clothes in your carry-on, in case your checked luggage gets lots.
Me being 6ft tall woman and having a size 11 shoe means I am taking as much as I can in pants and shoes.
Are you bringing omiyage for your employer? Checked some posts before, things that are individually wrapped (tea, snacks, ect) are great. Also regional favs are good to bring (Indiana --> cardinal figurine for office, apple butter).
Good luck with your flight, and hope everything goes well with your job!
