| Perhaps. I would think that most universities wouldn't care for that specialty, but that international schools would. It might depend on the focus. |

For Japan-- I doubt it.
In the States you would be as good as gold, though, due to the increasing push for inclusion of children with special needs in the regular education classroom. I've been to lots of teacher educator fairs and bilingual and special ed certs are what it's all about. So if you'd like to get into that in the future, go for it, but if it's only to help you for Japan, I'd pass. |

You might want to look at the ESF in Hong Kong. They seem to be looking for people at the moment and are considered one of the best places to work for in the education sector.
