Hi folks.
Apologies if this subject has come up before, but is there such a thing as schools that recruit art graduates with CELTAs to teach English through art and design? To kids and/or adults?
Not asking about artist opportunities such as exhibitions etc - I've got plenty of info there, but would need to support myself while in Japan, of course, and would like to do something more stimulating. I worked for Aeon for 18 months - loved the students, work wasn't too taxing (though meetings sucked!).
Thanks in advance to any helpful peeps out there. |

Yes, such jobs exist although very rarely.
There was a speaker on this topic (how to teach through art) in Sapporo a few weeks ago. Might want to try contacting her (Miori Shimada) about her presentation: "Incorporating art into language education" . |

Thank you Glenski. That's very useful I've found and bookmarked the page. Will enjoy reading it. |
