I wonder if anyone can help me?
I am looking at watching rugby on line. Esp super 14 and tri-nations etc
I have done a search on google and found a few sites but after looking at the sites and reading the guff I still have questions and I wondered if anyone here has done or is doing it
any help, advice would be great

I would prefer not to buy an antenna and install sky perfect etc if possible |

| You could try SOPcast, although I'm not sure of the legality of such software and its content in Japan. |

well, if its a good service (quality etc) I don't mind paying but the sites I saw didn't give much info on quality/general info. Just intro and then pay your money!
But of course if there is a site thats free and reasonable quality I would use that

| You could get somebody back home to buy a Slingbox and hook it up to the internet for you, then you can watch as much TV as you want online for free. |

Well Hikari TV is accessed via the internet but it's not like you're imagining. There's a set top box which connects to your TV. Setting it up is pretty simple but it's all in Japanese. They have some HD channels but not J Sports Plus which shows the rugby. |

and www.justin.tv, some are good quality, some are bad |

A slingbox is a device that relays a television signal over the internet, to your desktop or notebook. Basically, you buy a slingbox, set-it up at the source (home country) by connecting it to a cable box and an internet modem, and install software on a destination computer to receive the signal. You can watch all of the channels that are available on your source cable box (you can change channels online).
