Hi to all,
I contacted the alliances francaises but didn't get any answers.
Could someone tell me if there are some possibilities to teach french in schools or universities in Lima?
I hold an university degree of French teaching for foreigners.
Thanks for your attention |

Yes, you could teach at the Alianza francais. There is also a school, Franco Peruano, that you might be able to teach at. |

Thanks for your answer Sharon. I just ordered your PDF guide for teaching in Peru. It's really a great work, extremely useful.
Do you think I would have a chance to find a french teaching position in one month if I come directly to Lima? Is it not too late in March-April?
I wrote by email to many schools and universities where French is taught but didn't get any answers. |

Hi, that was you? YOu're in Switzerland, eight? Glad it helped
School has alraedy started, you might be able to work as an assistant. As for the institute, I don't think that they hire people without visas. But y ou could try privates. Also, I know of English institutes that hire under the table, if you're intersted, PM me.
If you're looking at schools where they just teach french as an elective, it's probably taught by Peruvians, because they don't have money to pay foriengers.
Look at pestalozzi.edu.pe and lfrancope.edu.pe . The first is a Swiss school, so I'd try there. Might try ringing them too, if you speak Spanish that is. |
