Hello,
I would appreciate leads for opportunities for first-time English teachers in Thailand (and Taiwan). I am also interested in the Middle East, but I see other sections for that part of the world. Their requirements seem to be a bit stringent (i.e. must be certified, etc.).
I have tons of relevant teaching experience at the university, community college, and workshop levels, however, I am not certified nor have I taught English per se.
If anyone has suggestions for legitimate leads be they recruiters, placement agencies, or schools/universities directly, I am looking for a position in the near term, vs. waiting until a September semester start.
Thank you. |

Your research (did any?) about Thailand has failed to show that for the most part, the academic year in Thailand usually begins early May. Its mostly the International Schools that start in Aug/Sep.
Generally, you need to be IN Thailand to secure any half-decent job.
Your post about "experience" is confusing.
Experience teaching what? Teaching but not certified?
Do you have a degree? A BA, BSc, BEd are probably the MINIMUM requirements to teaching in the Middle East.for any decent jobs anyway.
For jobs in Thailand just google "teachers forums in Thailand". |
