|
|
Hello, and I'm wondering if anyone knows if GPS units work in the Balkan region? I'm moving to Macedonia, so would really like something that will work there, but also in the surrounding area for travel. I already have a basic GPS that works in the US, but I'm happy to buy a better/more compatable unit if it'll work better in Europe. Or do you know if I can just download something to make my current GPS work overseas?
Thanks! |

Yes, the software will work anywhere in the world (Global Positioning System, or sometimes Satellite). You will probably have to get the maps (overlays?) for your new neck of the woods from the manufacturer, however. Check with your toy's website, or call their service rep to find out what exactly you will need. Do you Geocache? |

Thanks for the info- I'll look into it!
No, I haven't geocached...but I know people who do and it sounds like fun. Why do you ask? |
