Hi. I'm looking at a position with HESS in Taiwan and was wondering if anyone had had any experience with them or knew anything good or bad about them? Cheers! |

I do not recommend Hess- neither do any of my friends who work there.
That said, some people do like it- cause they can advance, it's really stable, etc.
My recommendation is to save $1-2000 US, fly over, and find another school that will suit your personality. Especially if you want to live in a big city (where there are a lot of jobs)
Hess has a lot of unpaid work, it pays less than most other schools, and you will work much harder than most other schools. This is just based on my experience and the experience of my friends.
Good luck. |

Taiwan is FANTASTIC though! I love it here and even working for Hess, it's still a wonderful place to be! |
