Just an idle thought, has anyone (on the Gulf side of here) every used their idle hours to make a small boat? Is it possible to buy plywood, epoxy, and all the bits and pieces one might need anywhere in Dammam, Khobar,or even Jubail? Are there any legal problems associated with building or owning a boat? (A very small one.) |

I know that Yanbu is a favourable destination for Westerner scuba diving. Making a boat is mmmmmmmmm well......! |

Yes.
Your boat should satisfy the Newton's Dynamic equations of motion. |

May God us keep
From single vision and Newton's sleep. |

God said, "Let Newton be!" And all was Light. |

Dear shadowfax,
William Blake - incomparable:
"Now I a fourfold vision see,
And a fourfold vision is given to me;
Tis fourfold in my supreme delight
And threefold in soft Beulahs night
And twofold Always. May God us keep
From Single vision & Newtons Sleep!"
Regards,
John |

I never figured 007 for an Alexander Pope man. |

Dear shadowfax,
But this may be applicable - to ALL of us.
"A little learning is a dangerous thing; drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring: there shallow draughts intoxicate the brain, and drinking largely sobers us again."
I very much doubt 007 is a Pope Benedict XVI man, though.
Regards,
John |
