Hi, Is it possible to come here in July and get a job? Is it possible just to pick up part time hours in various schools for the summer?
Thanks

Of course it's 'possible.' The odds increase if you have qualifications, as does the quality and reliability of your employer. I don't know about HCMC, but in Hanoi the public school holidays are in June and July, and those are the months when the pvt language schools are busy, so if you arrive in July you'll have missed half the 'summer.' Maybe you can find work in July as a replacement for someone who couldn't hack it! |

Thanks for the information. I'm am currently in Poland and everything here is semester based and so there is no work teaching adults in summer. Maybe I should have specified that I want to teach only adults.
I have a Celta certificate and experience and so finding work teaching adults should be ok as long as the schools are employing. |

That's right, the pvt language schools in Vietnam run year-round, including those for adults. |
