I live pretty close to the Rangsit area, Ngamwongewan, it has everything you need but lacks the night life of Dwntwn. I find that prices are cheaper and obviously much quieter. The closest BTS is Mor Chit, not that far away. Overall, I like living in the area, if you meet local uni. friends then life will be much more exciting around the area.

Which school, may I ask, if you're going to be teaching? I know there's an international school in the Rangsit area that you want no part of. I believe the name is Siam International, but I could be wrong. Check the place out thoroughly to be sure it isn't this school I'm talking about. It's on the Thailand blacklist, if that helps. If it's on the blacklist, I don't need to say anymore about it.
