I've heard there are some B&B's in Oman. Someone mentioned a place in Ibri but couldn't give me any details. Can anyone make recommendations? Are there any down south in the Salalah area?
Any Omani families operate B&Bs? Thanks. |

B+Bs are rare indeed. There are youth hostels that are really 'conveniency hotels' and guest houses which are hotels along the main routes for travellers' sojourn. Most hotels include breakfast in the cost of the room and this ranges from 20 omr to 'the sky is the limit' per night. Some very inexpensive but 'nice' lodgings can be found but 'Oman on 10 OMR per day' is not a general reality. Count on spending a minimum of 30 OMR per night for lodging for a double...anything less than that is bonus. |

the only B&B I know of in Oman is in Muscat right above the skating rink. Run by Siw Burring and definitetly not menat for slumming teens. The lady has [had?] class. I've lost touch with her after the huricane. |
