I have a few questions about renewing your residency and sponsorship. First of all, my residency expires in early September. I want to renew my (Early June) Can it be done that early?
Second question: Is it possible to sponsor a spouse with less than 6 months validity on a residency?

I dont think its possible to renew your residency early. For one thing the employer wont want to pay for it- they pay for a year so expect you to use it up before renewing it. Worth a try though- the ministries can take forever. Not sure about the spouse question. I wouldnt have thought it would be a problem with a little wasta. good luck.

They usually only let you renew it 30 days before expiry unless it's for a student who's in boarding school or you're going on summer leave. Then you need to see the Captain and explain your case. He can bend the rules if he wants....
