|
|
Hi there.
I'll be studying at Qatar Uni from September for 9 months. My finacee wants to come out in December to visit me. I imagine that there is no way that she can stay with me in segregated Qatar University accommodation. So what options does that leave us?
Is there any relatively cheap way to rent a room/flat for a few weeks that anyone knows of?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks |

try one of the long-term stay "hotels" like Ezdan Towers or the Somerset. People stay there for weeks, months and years instead of days. |

Ezdan Towers is very expensive. Apartments there are 10,000 plus.
They are not very nice anyway.
There are cheaper apartment hotels behind the Gulf Cinema. You just have to look around. The Mirage also offers some reasonable deals for long term visitors.

There is even a youth hostel where you can doss down for a few nights. I've had buddies stay there- basic but cheap. |
