This is what I found on craigslist - but I had a bad feeling about it almost immediately. I just wanted to show the comparison of this post to that of the sticky: SCAMS: Global Recruiter/Ministry Scams

Does anyone else agree that this may be a major scam like "global recruiters" but now they call themselves "teach away"?

What do you all think??

Nope... not a scam. They have run this ad here on Dave's too.

Do a search on PPP, ADEC, CfBT, to read about the program. TeachAway is a new recruiter who doesn't have a track record yet in the Emirates.

Go to the TeachAway discussion topic on this forum and read the postings. TeachAway is a definitely a hiring agent for ADED as claimed, but you'll see from the posting by Dave of TeachAway, they haven't a clue what they're sending teaching staff into. Rhetoric is western and labor protected there, but the middle-east is something quite different. Unless TeachAway is able to produce proof that it can in some way protect the teachers it recruits, what Dave has said about using Facebook and the agency itself is like salt in water.
