I have been reading a lot about interviews for teaching positions in Taiwan and they all seem to mention demonstrations. I figure that this will be a demo of a lesson but can anyone be a bit more specific?
Should I prepare for this before I come over?
I have spent 6 months as a teaching assistant but have no TEFL experience. So I would really appreciate it if anyone could give me a clue as to what to expect.
Thanks |

have you entered "demo" in the search option here? brian entered a wonderful post a few months back that may be just what you need. |

Demo's are usually no big deal. They just want to see that you are the right "person" for the job and don't drool. For kids do a little song and dance . For adults bring your photo album and an atlas, talk about yourself and your home. Always a big hit.
Remember make eye contact, shake their hands the first time you meet your students and don't laugh when the students tell you their names.
Soccer, Cherry, Engine, Spicy, Doodoo.. etc... |

If the school asks you for more than a 15 minute demonstration. Ask for pay. |
