Hi,
B.Ph.Ed (physical education) + CELTA + 2.5 years experience in New Zealand and South Korea (1.5 tertiary level). About to start MA TESOL via distance learning (Victoria Uni, New Zealand).
Only want to teach adults. Not looking for a demanding schedule so I have time for the MA.
Considering my minimal experience and qualifications, who should I approach and what kind of salary should I expect? My contract here finishes mid-August so I'm hoping for job starting in September. I'm looking at Kuwait and Saudi because of the salary. I'm well travelled in Europe, U.K. and Asia but I'm yet to experience the ME culture.
I know it's different for everyone, but what kind of savings could I expect? In South Korea I could save nearly US$2000 a month (before the won dropped); eating out a few times a week; minimal shopping; sports and small amount for socializing. I'd like to know if this is a reasonable goal here.
Thanks for your help in advance. |
