Public High school
20 hr/wk
including teaching teachers
5,000 RMB (I upped them already they were offering 4,000).
Any better way to negotiate this? They said they are tired of
negotiating at this point
Thanks

A short answer for a short and kinda unspecified info about your working conditions, housing, extras/bonuses besides the actual salary in RMB would be: "No."
What are you getting besides 5k RMB a month? |

It really depends where you are. It would be a terrible deal for Shenzhen. |

I doubt you will get much more out of them, but 5000 is low for 20 actual hours. |

Difficult to say, OP, so much depends on what the prevailing wages in your part of the country are. But I think you could do as well at many universities in China, possibly with fewer hours.

How can you possibly believe that a public school (K-12) has higher tuition than a university ? |

it depends on the levels, a top k-12 will have much higher tuition than a lower level uni.
on the op's topic what they are offering is far to low for that much work IMO. |

Yes, I agree, I know ... but those are FAR from the majority.
I work in one of those public schools and make nearly 3x what the university pays. |
